Spotting unsafe links on twitter, Reporting these "phishing" links to Twitter as Spam.

Some folks on twitter just cannot play nice.  As in ALL online activity, be wary of any links you click on.  A recent example of a phishing link can be found in the bio here > https://twitter.com/swtchks017 .  (Note: this handle was changed back to @Liberata017 https://twitter.com/liberata017 )

A variation of this same link is in her Main Account here > https://twitter.com/4evrSin .

In this case Twitter is aware that this is an unsafe link and warns you if you click on it.

This phishing link is a service by Bvog(dot)com.

Twitter Support asks that you report links like these as SPAM.  It has a How-To here >
Reporting Spam on Twitter: https://support.twitter.com/articles/64986

To Report a bio, click the Tools Icon next to the Follow button.

Select Report.  Then Select "They are posting spam"

That's it.  You can choose to Mute, Block, or just move on by selecting done.

Additional examples of how to report can be found here: Dear Troll, You are nothing but a waste of time. How to report tweets.
